Has anyone successfully attested Measure 2 of the Menu Set, which is lab test results as structured data? If so how did you put the report together? I'm confident we well surpass the 40% but I'm not sure how to prove it.

This probably won't help you at this point but we distinguish our document types so that lab that my physicians order is called "Lab report" when it comes in. Lab results we did not order is called "CC Lab". We have one lab interface so I then ran an inquiry on all documents in the reporting period called "Lab report" (my physicians ordered it) and then searched for the provider name of our interfaced lab in "document text". I then just did the math. This excluded lab results we did not order in our numbers and gave me the percentage of documents that came thru the interface.
Great idea to name them 2 different types. We kept the paper lab after it was scanned and then did a sort ordered by our providers vs. CC copy. I will be talking with our medical records to change our process for 2013. Thanks!
