Does anyone know if you still have to ask your patients what their ethnicity, race and language for MACRA for next year? I know they took it away for 2016 reporting but people keep telling me you still need to record this type of information. Can anyone shine some light on this for me?

Hi,
If you read all the Data Criteria on all the CMS measures some use Ethnicity, race and language. One example is Controlling High Blood Pressure CMS 165. What they did was incorporate it in other measures. So I believe its best to keep doing it. Misty
