Hello all,
We are working with popHealth here in CT and using QVERA. The popHealth folks have the following question:
“We have a question about generating the different CCDA document templates that are required for Meaningful Use Stage 2 Certification. Currently, we are using the 2014 Centricity Version CPS 12.0.4 and have been able to produce a VDT document every time a document is signed. However, this document does not include the encounters field. In order to produce a CVS or TOC document, there must be a workflow change. Is it possible for Centricity Version CPS 12.0.4 to generate a CCD v1.1 every time a document is signed without encountering workflow issues? Are there any other document types that include encounters as a requirement and can be triggered each time a document is signed?”
Best,
Anthony
I love popHealth's approach!
Can it be done? Yes. Will it require GE/Qvera resources and/or $$? ????
1. Within your existing Qvera CQM Channels export, you could Insert another function to also save files into a directory (that's how QIE was setup by default originally in March/April). Need to make sure the CQR exports aren't changed. Right-click>Insert Destination from Step 2.
2. Use the "Export Charts" subscription. Downside is that this is based upon the Inquiries module, and wouldn't be automatic.
3. Pay GE/Qvera set it up (it should only take a few minutes to actually build) since everything is already in place. What kind of license this requires is a different question. This is essentially Qvera's TOC CCD-A import/export package.
4. Wait for version 9.9 (CPS12x) which references automatic generation "based upon an update or signed document related to an office visit".
