2 questions:
1. Is there an obs term that you can attach to a handout so you can print an educational handout that is not the medication handout and still have it count toward item.
2. Is there a way to make a handout into a PDF file so when it goes into the chart it is not just a line item but you can actual click on the attach button and see what was actually given to the patient and reprint it if you would need to for any reason for instance if they have questions when calling about portal?
Thanks in advance for any help. This meaningless use as our provider call it is driving me crazy. LOL

1. I don't know, I thought those were "action" items, so there'd be no way to use an obs term…
2. Sure you can print anything as a PDF using either Adobe Acrobat or there's several free options available. Instead of selecting your printed you'd select the PDF converter. Keep in mind though, there is no way to attach a PDF to a patients chart in CPS. You can only attach image files, so you'd have to convert the PDF to a TIFF or JPG.
