I've noticed that some immunizations "explode" to their components when added through the IMMUN_ADD function. For example, when I add an MMR, IMMUN_GETLIST shows that four records have been added:
MMR, Measles, Mumps and Rubella
What controls this? Is it user configurable?
we are interested in this as well. Also, if this is possible, would you then be able to configure the other combo vaxes?
I think what Eric was referring to was in the Immunization Record card, Aka Hx View, aka, Immunization letter.
That is what we are struggling with right now. It's important to know if it was given as a combo vax or as a single immunization and on some, it's impossible to tell so far.
@aaltotsky or anyone else who can offer advice... My MMR settings show a vaccine group of "MMR." However, when I look at history or print the record, I get the MMR given date listed in four places: MMR, Measles, Mumps, Rubella. It looks like the patient was given four vaccines on the same date. It just looks bad in the record, and it can be confusing to non-medical people who don't know that those are just the components of the combo vaccine. Other combo vaccines don't do this, so why does MMR?
In the "Step 1 - Copy to the Client Folder\Immunization" folder you may find "fndef-Immunization.txt" file with "fnRecalculateSeries" function.
It contains "fnFlagImmCombos" method that flags combo and non-combo vaccine.
How is the admin fee codes set up? We noticed that we can order the same vaccine for 2 different patients and the admin fee code is different. I don't know where it is pulling from. Does anyone know?
