Hi all,
We've found in our testing of the CQR that the denominators on the CVS measure seem off. I joined a roundtable discussion last week but we didn't get very far on this. As an example I set up a fake testing MD (we are still in the Test CQR/EMR stage) and had 6 visits with this provider. I was testing CPOE so none of these patients had a CVS generated. The oddity I saw is that this provider only had 3 in the denominator - not the 6 I would suspect. Even further it was two patients, one with 2 visits and one with 4 - both showed in the CQR with half (1 and 2 respectively).
Has anyone else noticed this with their CVS testing?
Thanks,
Mike
I think we just figured this one out ourselves, sorry for the erroneous post. We noticed that the EP in question has to have signed the office visit. It just so happened it was our CPOE test patients so we had a few visits that only had only non-provider users on the visit (testing credentialed vs non-credentialed users). Once we signed a visit after the fact as the MD the patient showed in the denominator.
