Has anyone been audited before receiving your incentive payment? 11 of my 24 doctors are being audited.
Wanted to see how the process went and if there were any gotcha moments.
Also, was the information out of centricity sufficient for their purposes or did you have to do anything else to supply them with the information they needed?
Thanks,
Ernie T
Have they started the audit yet? What is the process. We will be submitting for some of our providers soon. Is it the stage 1 first year?
Yep. Just received notice yesterday. You will receive a letter from Peter Figliozzi stating that they are doing a meaningful use review and they will give you instructions to upload the requested information to their portal site for them to review.
Just had one provider go thru submitting documentation on an audit for Core Measures. Needed to provide more documentation on four items after the first submission:
1. Patient List -- auditors wanted to see a copy of an actual list that was generated with actual patient names (at least the first page's worth).
2. Immunization - needed additional documentation showing screen-shots from the EMR (or registry), rather than just HL7/VXU test messages.
3. Security Review - needed additional documentation on the review itself.
4. Patient request for electronic info (CCD) - needed to provide a written statement indicating that no requests were made.
The measures with GE numerators/denominators were fine; they just wanted to see GE's name on the reports.
