So apparently I must have accidentally changed my obsterm for the med reconciliation from "MEDS REVIEW" to "MEDS REVIEWD" thats right, with a D, and now most of my medication reconciliations didn't get counted for the year. I tried troubleshooting throughout the year but they were slowly going up so I thought it was a workflow issue. It wasn't until late December did I find the error of my ways. I have put in two SR's with GE but they have been less than helpful, slow to respond and actually losing the first SR I put in.
My question to the board is, is there any way that this can be rectified within SQL or such?
Can you add the obs term you used "MEDS REVIEWD" to the data mapping tool and then have GE import your data again? This should allow both obs terms to meet the measure. Best of Luck.
Steph
I thought so too but apparently this measure isn't in that section.
Did it actually record an observation? If so, it is possible to update the HDID on the records that were recorded to the wrong observation and push them to the correct observation. I have had to do this on mulltiple OBS values that were saved to the wrong obs term.
Yes, it did. How would one go about updating the HDID?
With a SQL query. Send me an email and I will provide you with what you need.
Also are you on MSSQL or Oracle (CPS or EMR), your profile says both?
