I'm looking for feedback from Centricity EMR users who are using Patient Link bubble forms. I would appreciate any information that you can provide. Thanks, Constance
It is very expensive to add new scanners and the process of when you can start a note does not work well in a busy office. (you have to have the patient complete all of the bubble sheets before you can start a note.) I have also found them not to be that reliable. Patients do not always fill it out correctly and by doing so will allow incorrect data to populate in the chart if you are not careful. We are trying to phase out and go with either Kryptiq's docusign product or something similar.
We use Patient Link, but as Gail reported, they're not terribly reliable or responsive. They also charge a large per-machine yearly support, and won't even talk to you if you haven't paid your support. We have 15 machines or so and right now, to have them update our forms with the new MU smoking statuses will cost us more than $20k before they'll even talk to us about fixing the form.
They've got the market cornered, and boy do they know it.
We just got a Quote for our office of 40 providers 85,000
I'm very surprised that they charge so much to change a MU form - they seem to be very expensive!
I appreciate all of the feedback - if anyone knows of another vendor for this functionality, preferably where we can create/change and own our own forms without huge costs involved, please let me know.
Greetings Conda, As I was reading through some of these comments I was actually surprised as we have a very high client retention and satisfaction rating. Our pricing model has changed to a "software as as service" model which is basically a lease. We no longer "sell" our software rights as we have several products such as online and we will be rolling out new products in Q 1 2016. Previously, we sold our software as a system but most providers offer a monthly subscription fee which would make us look expensive. Our software now comes in a suite with the functionality to turn on and off features which is very common with software. I would be glad to provide new pricing to you and see where we can save you some money.

Hi Tessa, Your organization is a long time client of ours so your comment is of concern to me. We take great pride in our customer support and retention. I am assuming that this has been addressed since it was such a long time ago. However, I want to apologize if you had a bad experience with anyone who works here. My guess is that person probably isn't here any longer. I will share that many times our support staff assists clients to resolve small issues as we understand many times payments may be in the mail or may have been overlooked. I can't imagine anyone not helping one of our best clients. Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you ever have less than superior service.
As for the forms, unfortunately it isn't as simple as modifying a word document. There is a lot that goes into mapping it to make sure it goes to the correct fields. I would be glad to revisit the topic with you.

Hi Gail, I think this has been addressed but we will be reaching out to confirm. We want to make sure we understand your concerns and what you are referring to when you mention "not being reliable". From what I can tell, you are referring to the forms when patients fill them out transferring the data properly? If this is the case, we need to look at the forms and make sure everything is configured correctly. Given the time since this post, I am sure it has been addressed and corrected but we want to be absolutely sure.

We have been using Patient Link's services for over 8 years. We started out on their old system with stock card bubbleforms and then a couple of years ago moved to their new system. We are a practice of 30+ providers, with multiple locations. We have been very happy with their services. They are very accomodating and great to work with.
Like Robin Wilson said, there is a lot of work behind the scenes when making a form change.
