We print the CVS from a button on our form. How can I get that to count for MU #13 Clinical Visit Summaries? Is there a way to set an audit event from within a form? When I run an inquiry, I have good information, but the report is not showing any being printed from the form itself!
Ideas? Help?
Thank you!

If you print it from a button, it should be recorded in the audit tables, and you would get credit in the MU report. However, there was a flaw in CPS 9.5 where it wasn't stored in the audit tables correctly. I don't know if it was fixed in a service pack, but I'm pretty sure it does work correctly in 10 and higher.
Thank you.... You are right! What I figured out a few minutes after I sent that post (of course!) is that it doesn't get counted if the note isn't signed! Even if clinical list changes are signed, it won't count until the note is signed. Why? If I print the CVS during the visit, what matters when I sign off the note? BTW- we are on CPSv10.1.3
I am getting serious pushback on that factor!
A face-to-face encounter with a provider has to be considered "billable" in order to be counted in the denominator of this objective, and CMS considers a billable visit one that is final and signed. It may be a certification requirement to only count final, signed documents, or GE may have just figured it was safer since unsigned documents can always be discarded later on.
