Hi, We are trying to determine a work flow to send Clinical Visit Summary or "print to" the patient portal. We are using Intuit (medfusion) portal. We are trying to define a way to capture this as an event that will be captured to count for MU rather than printing and handing the CVS to patient. We use both handouts, *Patient Instructions and Clinical Visit Summary in our office visit encounters.
Any thoughts or advice would be helpful. The GE specs for Meaningful Use reports does not clearly define a process we have been able to get to work.
Thanks!
We use Intuit as well. They created a MU report for this measure and you have to install the Clinical Kit for the report to work, if you have not done so already. Also, on the portal side-you must install the Meaningful Use in order for the PDE to install.
In order for the work to capture the information you must:
1- Open the patient chart "desktop summary"
2-Click Print and choose Printer "Intuit Health Patient Data Export"
3-You sign in using your Intuit Username/Password
4-Insert patient ID#, follow prompts, etc.
5-You have now captured the Numerator needed for the reports.
I would contact your Intuit Account Rep if you need the documentation/Instructions
Feel free to send me an email if you need anything else!

Thanks Ashley! I emailed as I have some questions on how this is working for your center. Sherrie
We use the Kryptiq pt portal product. Does anyone know how we would send the Clinical Visit Summary through the portal and is there any way it can automatically print to the portal when the visit is signed. Thank you
Kryptiq's Automated Clinical Messaging (ACM) module will send the visit summary to a portal account automatically when the office note is signed.
Hi, We have not yet used Kryptic pt portal or Intuit. We prints cvs and give to patient. How can we report on this?
Thanks in advance.

Mitch, when using ACM is the event picked up by the MU report for CVS?
What else is ACM used for besides sending CVS?
Mitch,
Yes I think when ACM sending CLV to patient portal it gets recorded in Audit_Event_Details.Event_value_1=something just like printing cvs and give it to patient. I think the Event ID is 507
