First question. How does Centricity EMR allow you to produce an inquiry on people seen at least twice in the past 2 years. I am not sure this is possible in the inquiries module.
Second question. the meaningful use guide says it only supports the EMR currently only supports the "Letter" method. which means for people to be counted they have to have perferred contact method as "Letter".
Is this a joke? Who has anyone whose preferred method of contact is "Letter"?????
All of your statements above are valid and I share the frustration, but the good news is this is no longer a MU stage 2 requirement
This measure is no longer a MU Objective as of last week*****
GE did write the CQR to pick up "letter" as preferred method of contact. In order to get the patients in the numerator, you would have to change their contact method to letter, print the letters from the actionable folder then go back and change their preferred method of contact to what they had previously. Very time consuming and unrealistic for anyone to do!!!!
So confusing.. I was looking at the updated MU Guide that was recently released and saw where they were talking about the Actionable folder. Are you saying we do not need that folder any more?
Meant post this here.

you are correct this measure is not being measured any more
Thank you! I scoured the October MU guide and couldn't find that anywhere.
