I'm sure this is an easy question, but I was wondering why it is important to click the commit button on the CPOE form?

Seems it does not get recorded as clinical list changes until its committed. It does enter it in to txt before though.

If you want to see previous assessment's of a problem, you need to click commit. While it will show in the text field of the note, it will not show under the problems list as an assessment. For ease of care to see what a provider assessed previously!

This has always been a sticking point with my providers. They make the (understandable and valid) argument of "if I type it, then sign it, it means commit it... just make it happen without the click".
