Hello all,
I am attaching an office note from a 2015 date of service. When we open this note it looks like gibberish. Is there a way to fix this? Maybe run a script ? Below is an example of what it looks like. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Take a look at this thread and see if that looks like what you experiencing

Sharon,
Michael has you pointed in the right direction. The issue you are experiencing has to do with the fact that the "chunks" of data that are used to reconstruct the office note for viewing in Centricity are out of order. We have seen this a few times in our practice as well. Thanks for posting that thread Michael.
So i was looking at that post and I am not sure if there is a solution to fix this? what did your office do to resolve this?
When this occurs in our office, we typically have to get into the database on the backend and locate all of the records that make up the corrupt document. We then jockey the data around so that the DDID (document ID) fields will reconstruct the document in the proper order. Unfortunately, this requires some Ninja-like database skills and some understanding of the RTF (rich text format)standard. I would contact your support vendor or GE and reference the CHUG forum thread. If someone knows of an easier way, I would be interested in hearing about it. Many medical practices don't have the IT expertise to perform the above procedure, and it's disappointing GE hasn't addressed this issue before now.
I could probably help you if you were on CPS, but it appears your EMR is on C-EMR.
