Can some explain to me how you are creating reports that users can run whenever they need too? Not inquiries but more complex reports that are written by IT. Thank you in advance.
I am actually creating reports a few different ways for some offices. I have an application they run outside of Centricity for the heavy duty ones, then I have a web based one that I embedded into CPS's interface for the smaller ones. None are using crystal.
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). It is an awesome application. We use it to: (1) allow users to run reports on demand; (2) schedule reports to be sent automatically via email on a pre-defined schedule; (3) display clinically relevant information in real-time to staff (ex: patients in waiting room, patients in clinic, patients ready for check-out).
We use Crystal and plug the reports back into CPS for the users to run from Centricity.
