Anyone getting their billing duplicated on an order when it is imported into billing. When there are several diagnosis codes attached to an office visit charge, the charge gets duplicated in the billing screen. It has duplicated up to 68 times! We must then delete all the duplicates before sending it.
Anyway to fix this???
This is a known issue with GE and there are SPRs out there for this. We were hoping it was going to get fixed in Patch 6 but it looks like it's going to be fixed in SP12. Well.. Hopefully.
We've been fighting this for a while. You are not alone. Found out on a call today that GE can replicate the problem, they are supposed to be working on a patch.

we actually found that duplicates can be produced when the locations of care are incorrect, or the patient has one location of care but the user entering the charges is in another.
However that doesn't account for up to 68 duplicates, that is just two. Could you be having issues with a form? Do you use custom forms to enter in charges?
We are also noting this issue especially when it comes to vaccines that are being given. We have had charges display 4-5 times for the same vaccine. We have been added to the SPR and hoping for the fix soon.
