I am looking for a MEL Language Reference.
- I have found the "Creating Clinical Content" PDF. This is useful but is more than a decade old and not a language reference.
- The engage.gehealthcare.com is a dead link.
- Is MEL still supported?
The "Creating Clinical Content" document is the best reference on the MEL language, which was designed many years ago when the product was created by Medicalogic. The most recent version on the athenahealth customer success portal is July of 2020 I believe. If you go to https://athenaflex.athenahealth.com/s/hcd-librarypage and search for "Creating Clinical Content" (include the quotes) the document will come up. The document is actually called "Creating athenaFlow Clinical Content" in the search results but that is not what the title page in the PDF says.
I have a long running personal document that is basically everything I've learned from years of using MEL (including things I learned from DavidShower). It's messy because it's my own, and some things may be misguided or outright incorrect. Let me know if you are interested and I can send it to you.
@vrdlc I am just getting into MEL. Last week, I printed out the Creating Clinical Content document and if you are still willing, I'd like to read over your MEL documentation. [email protected]
@vrdlc Hi, I'd love to get a copy of this document. I didn't see any ability in this new forum to send you a message though. If you are still able to share I'd love a copy, [email protected]
