We have a particular document type that has a form that we do treatments for patients.
I would like to have a data text box that shows the last date a signed document of this type occurred.
Document Name: TreatmentRx,
would like to pull date of last signed document of this type.

No native functionality exists for this type of tracking. The documents table is rather burdensome on the system and accessing it via MEL code is less than efficient, so if you can go with an obsterm that is populated only when using that document type, that would work better. It would also allow you to track that obsterm in the flow sheet, if desired.

Try this, change the highlight "1" to the doctype number for TreatmentRx
