When I make clinical list changes, hold the document with the clinical list changes signed, and look at the flowsheet, the values do not push. I look at "View clinical list changes" and they are writing just fine.
When I put a document on hold and try to open a new document and try to view the previous observation value, it does not work. Any thoughts?
If you are just holding the document, but not "Signing Clinical List Changes" (check box on the end document screen.) then you will not see the observations in either the flow-sheet or in a new document.
The "View clinical list changes" show you all changes that will be completed when you sign the document, but these are not committed to the database yet.
Flow-sheets and New Documents only show Observations that are committed to the database.
Hope this helps explain how the system works.

We have found years ago that the document has to be signed before the clinical list changes are committed to the DB. It used to be that having the check in the box to sign clinical list changes was enough but that hasn't been the case for us since 9.2. We are on CEMR 9.8.11 now.
Thanks,
