Good day CHUG Group
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the size of their production database is.
I am attempting to forecast growth and cost. If this makes sense..
Thank you

CPS or CEMR?
Our CPS database is around 175GB at the moment. We have had CPS for 8 years.
Production database 917GB
We started with PM (on SQL) in 2004. Added EMR (Oracle) in 2005. Migrated to the combined product (CPS on SQL) in 2010. We currently have 25 offices and 61 providers. Run typically 300 concurrent users.
Our timeline is similar to tdavidson. We have 8 providers currently but have had as many as 12 at one time. Our database is 500 gb, and we're fighting with our VAR to find a way to reduce it since there is no archive ability. Nightly jobs are taking way too long to run.
53 GB single physician practice
Taking the Registration images off the database helps a lot.
