I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried to pull the flat fee charge associated with a CPT code into a field in a VFE form?
Depending on the patient's insurance, we need to get ABNs signed for some of our DME items. Clinic staff need to fill in the item's cost on the ABN. Currently, we have word documents printed out in the clinic area that lists the cost of each item; if we update/add a price of an item, we have to update these cheat sheets. If we could display the cost entered for that CPT code from charge maintenance, there would be an instant update to the staff on what the cost of the item is.
Not sure if there is a way to pull information from the PM side into a form on the EMR side.
