Hi,

I want to get started with SQL and I do not know the relatively large number of books to buy.
I'd rather pay for some crown, but I need a good, understandable book that will lead me from the ground up. So here you are in the forum please for advice.

Please help.

Honestly for beginning fresh, I found this very handy:

https://www.w3schools.com/sql/

It will walk you through a few scenarios. It is by no means going to make you an expert, but it will get you accustomed to how to run basic queries and such.
