Found the following link on how someone created a handout to mimic parts of the SuperBill.

1) We are pondering really altering the SuperB.rpt file, and locally I can see it in the CRWRPTS folder. However, minor tweaks do not seem to be taking effect when I run from the GE client (not thru a Citrix connection). Do I need to run the jobs.txt to copy out (and does it install something?) for my changes? My goal is to make the changes local on a single pc to see what it would really look like for a real office visit.
2) Does not seem that the SuperBill is installed the way you can load other reports. There is simply a choice to print - documents - full superbill. We are pondering two versions of the SuperBill to be available for selection.
Trying to shorten the SuperBill and also make it more useful - lots of wasted space, unnecessary fields printed, etc...
We updated ours to shorten also. I modify the superb.rpt in my crwrpts folder on local install and see the changes right away so not sure what is happening with yours. When ready to deploy, I copy to all the citrix servers. I can send you the one we use if you want to look at it. It is multiple patients per page. You could make another custom report but I don't think you could get the built in selections to work like the superbill has. Or if anyone knows a way, would love to know how. I do add custom reports with parameters but they don't work like the built in ones.
When you say that you modified the SuperB.rpt file in the crwrpts folder, was this done on the Application Server or the local client install? The report file should exist on both machines in the exact same location.
If you modified it on the Application Server then you will need to copy it to every local client that will be running the report. If you only have a few to copy it to then there is no real reason to use the jobs.txt process, however, if you have a lot of clients to copy to then the jobs.txt process really is the easiest way. Either way, it's just how you prefer to do it.
