Using Multifactorial fx to populate multiline edit field

I am using several multifactorial functions to document patient plan information and I want to be able to capture this within a multiline edit field. It works with the exception that the edit field will only "accept" one choice. Does anyone know of a way that multiple choices can be made to populate the edit field?
