I am looking for the Calculations to get the WHO Percentiles for infants based on their Gestational Age at Birth. I have the WHO tables saved out in the same location as the old height_age, weigh_age, etc. files.
If I use the WHO calculation for percentiles that you can find on the CHUG forums it works great for calculating the Percentiles for children who have a gestational age of 40 weeks at birth, but they do not calculate correctly for a child that was 38 weeks of gestational age at birth.
I have tried to pull apart the functions that GE's Centricity Growth Charts use and retool that code to be used directly in VFE, but I have not been able to get this to work correctly either.
Any help will be much appreciated.
have you received any answers about this? We are also seeing a discrepancy when you change the gestational age for premies. The percentiles are off. we have compared with other on-line tools and getting a completely different values.
I reached out to the WHO website to see if they can give me any information on how they calculate a child percentiles with a gestational age of something other than 40. I will update here when i find out.
We are having the same issue though. The updated tables work great for our 40 week kids, but not the other population.
