We are upgrading this weekend. Anything to look out for? Thanks.
If you'll be upgrading to CCC 9.1, get the installer package in advance. It took us a couple of days.
we are using the latest version already i think.
We had to reload our ICD-10 codes in order for our ICD-9 to be accessible. It caused a huge headache for us Monday after our install. The reload process didn't take long but we didn't learn we had to do that until the following day.
Thanks Terri, We are making the plunge to SP10 tonight at 9pm.
Hi Twerner, can you elaborate on that regarding the icd10 reload? are you referring to rerunning the cps knowledge base? thx
Also curious what is involved with reloading the ICD-10 codes. I realize we need to re-import the latest ICD-CPT code package, but do you also mean we need to reload them in Administration > Codes > Reload Diagnosis Codes?
Yes, we had to go to Administration - Codes - Load Codes. We had to choose all the specialties and load them by increments. A-B, C-D, etc.
Thank you
I'm curious. Do you do the full build, service pack or the server setup download upgrade? GE recommends the full build upgrade.
Has anyone stayed on CCC 8.3.8 and Basic 1.0 while upgrading to SP 10? We have a lot of customizations in our CCC forms that will make it hard to upgrade to CCC 9.1 and 1.1 by the end f the weeks. Currently waiting for a call back from a GE rep on this situation.
Thanks!
We installed SP10 and stayed with CCC 8.3.8 and Basic 1.0. We have done a minimal amount of customization and everything is working fine. I think we are going to have to install 1.2 as the Problems-CCC form we updated using the GE ICD-10 spreadsheet isn't working quite right and we would told that would solve the problem.
CCC Basic 1.2 also fixes most issues where the CPOE A&P form returns "Problem List Too Large" errors on patients with big Problem lists.
We're having an issue where any uncoded ICD-9 codes are not showing up in CPS, but they are still visible in the ICDDEPT table. Twerner, is this sounding like the issue you had?
Yes. That sounds like the same thing.
