Is anyone aware of a way to enable patients to book their own appointments using the SureScripts (formerly Kryptiq) patient portal?
Our scheduling is done in Centricity Business and sent to Centricity EMR via an interface.
Typically with the Kryptiq portal you can send an "appointment request" through an eForm. But if you want the appointment to "book" directly in your PM system (even Centricity Business), I'd highly recommend using ZocDoc. It books right in PM and is a great way to draw new patients. Most appointments are booked after working hours so it works for you when you aren't there. I've been involved in a few big implementations of ZD and am very impressed by them. I presenting on this at CHUG in Oct 2015. Let me know if you want me to email you the presentation. [email protected].
Angela could you send me the presentation?
That name was recently raised around here and I'm curious on others experiences. We don't directly support the PM software but I'd still like to understand it better.
Absolutely! I tried to attach it here but I will also email it to you since I'm not sure if this works! ZocDoc is pretty darn neat. I've worked to implement CPS clients over the past few years. It does interface with PM and Centricity Business (IDX) as well as other PM software.
