I am wondering if there are any user of this program, especially any CHC/FQHC . I just would like to know if you have recieved any feed back from your patients on how well they like the program, is it easy to navigate, to they have any difficulty with scheduling? And on the flip side how has your staff been with using this program and how has it affected their workflows?
Feel free to email directly as well. [email protected]
Hello Cathy,
I have seen demonstrations of the EZ Access patient portal and there are some nice features in it. I do not know anyone using it, but just be aware this is not a GE product. I confirmed with our GE sales rep. GE still recommends Kryptiq. EZ is built to work with Centricity.
We'll probably be jumping on this here in the next few months...
Before you do that -- you should really consider that the Kryptiq portal has Automated Clinical Messaging. This allows you to push a report to the portal -- (like chart summary) without the doctor having to do it and will help with MU!
It's really cool and not expensive. Also we found the Kryptic portal easy to attach OBS terms and bring in the history. We bring the history over into a form where the doctor review and can add or complete a history but still have a record of what the patient wrote down.
Just saying make sure you are looking at all parts of the portal's functions before making that decision

It will be great to have another EzAcess portal user on board. They have been many improvments over the last several months and the programmer is really great to work with. He has made several changes for us.
You can auto push out many different reports like letters, summarys, labs, etc to the portal.
Every portal has its pluses and negatives. It really depends on your facility. Like for us we are FQHC and cost is always an issue. We found EzAccess to be less expensive.

I would be interested in hearing how you are using the Kryptiq portal to bring in obs and history. We also have a Kryptiq portal and our looking into ways of doing this, currently reaching out to a 3rd party vendor. Doing in-house with existing tools would be better. Feel free to email me directly if you have a few minutes to talk about it. [email protected] Thanks!
