Hi Folks,
We have a team looking at portals, and they have come down to SMPP (since we already own it) and Intelichart. Would anyone using either of these be willing to speak with a few members of our team? We would be especially interested in talking with other FQHCs but even if you are not one, that would be good too.
Thanks,
Steve
Hi Steve:
We currently have Intelichart. We also do not currently use it. I tried to I implement it about a year and 1/2 ago, but it just wasn't working out for us. Sales person "sold" us one thing and then when it came down to implementation and training that turned out to be different. I know they made some recent changes and updates but I have not looked at it yet. If you decide to go with Intelichart just be very specific as to your needs and what they offer. Good luck.

Thanks (I think) Michelle.

Steve,
I can give you a lot of info on SMPP from both sides of the product; vendor and customer. I worked for Surescripts (aka Kryptiq) in Support and then as a Product Manager and then after leaving I have been at 2 different companies that have used it. Generally I would say its a good product that was once the "innovator" in the Patient Portal space for many years. If you want to get into specifics it might be easier to just contact me directly as it will take some time to list all the "pros" and "cons". I like to help so just send me your contact info and we can setup a meeting.

Our office is currently using myezyaccess, it seems to be outdated to be honest with you. Sending forms to our patients is not so easy for patients to fill out and send back. We are possibly looking into something different that would link with telemed visit.
