Do anyone use the "Add from chart" feature when signing patients up for the Patient Portal? If so, when issuing a temporary password to the patient how long is that temp. password good for? we are having issues with the temporary password if patients do not sign up within 72 hours. Any help is appreciated.

I believe that the temporary password is good for around 24 - 48 hours my bet is on the 24 hours length.

We were told by Kryptiq that the temporary password that is generated does not expire unless you have the "Automatic password expiration" set in your app server config tool.

We use the Add from chart feature - our temporary passwords don't expire.

Is there a way to send the patient's temp password within that email when they are linking the patient? Or are you manually sending that letter?
