Our medical records's person is sending out records via secure messaging. What mechanism is available to verify it indeed is being sent out? I checked our exchange logs.
Thanks.

You can have them cc to chart when they send it out. Creates an extra document but the proof is in the chart. It would show the SM was sent and what attachments were included.
If you have admin rights on the secure messaging, you can go to reports and run a user report and select the email of the person sending the messages. It will list everyone that user has sent messages to, but it will not show what the message was, but it should give you a good idea of how many they are sending out.

Thanks for the information.

When we choose CC to chart nothing goes to the chart. Also, when we try to convert a secure message to a chart document it doesn't go the patient's chart. Any ideas on what to check would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
If you are using Kryptiq messaging try going into your messaging sent box, double click on the message you want to cc into the chart. In the top toolbar there is an Action drop down use the Save to EMR. This has work for us to send it into the chart after the original message has been sent.

We have since converted to the method that Steph B is using, we click on action button and save to EMR. The Med records person then appends the document with the records sent, date/time, and method.
We've tried using the Save to EMR, however nothing happens within the chart. Any ideas of what might be causing this situation?
