Is anyone else up in arms about this? Simply setting the DRUG USE obs term to yes results in a CCDA display of "drug misuse behavior" in Social History. Marijuana is legal in Oregon but this patient is not happy with GE's interpretation of the provider documenting "Occasional use of marijuana to assist with sleep" becoming "Details of drug misuse behavior". Have any of you dealt with this issue and what was your outcome/work around?

Ours wasn't Marijuana but we had Hx of Tobacco abuse translate to History of Suicide Attempt on the CCDA, Clinical Visit Summary and in the portal. GE had the ICD code mapped to the wrong Sno-Med code for a little while and they had to give us a script to run. Thank goodness they have since fixed it, I would assume for anyone else who had that problem.
