Hi friends:
We have CHC add-ons that include specific information such as mother's maiden name, legal resident status, and other tidbits that several of our referral services require on their admission forms. I'd like to automatically populate this information so that our referral coordinators don't have to manually look this up every time.
Would the correct procedure be to modify the mldefs.txt file and add the appropriate objects/fields, and then propagate my modified mldefs.txt to client installations?

Note: we're using CPS 9.5
