On our Babies Due report the patients that have had a miscarriage still populate on the report. Has anyone found a way to prevent them from populating on a Babies Due report?
Here is what we are using for a record selection:
{PERSON.PSTATUS} = "A" and
{PERSON.ISPATIENT} = "Y" and
{OBSHEAD.NAME} in ["EDC", "EDD BY LMP", "OBALERTNOTES"] and
{PERSON.SEX} in ["F", "U"] and
(datediff("yyyy",{LASTLABS.MAXLABDATE},today) <= 2) and
{USRINFO.SearchName} startswith {?Primary Care Physician}
We've had this same problem on certain reports and processes and have never found a solution. The problem is that there is no way for Centricity to know that a patient has miscarried, unless one of your staff manually enters something to tell it. We enter details into the chart when a patient delivers, but not when they miscarry. It's causes even more problems when a patient miscarries then gets pregnant again before having a period. Everything is tracked by LMP so the system doesn't realize it's a new pregnancy.
Anyway, if you come up with anything, I'd love to hear.
