I have given myself permission to use the TFE and I can get into it but when I select my specialty, then the encounter form to edit, the encounter form drop-down list is always blank. It doesn't matter which specialty I pick, they are all blank.
This only happens on my thick client, when using the TFE from our Citrix servers, it works fine. I just hate using the Citrix servers to make changes.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have even exported the TFE clinical kit from a working Citrix server and imported it to my thick client and still no luck.
Thank you!
You might need to compare the CCC directory on one of your Citrix servers and your fat client's CCC directory (and also the text files in the root of the EMR client directory too). Sounds like your are missing a file somewhere or a file on your computer is missed an edit that is on the Citrix server install.

I have actaully copied all the files from my Citrix client folder to my thick client client folder. It acts like something is incorrectly installed.
Thank you for the tip though.
There are 2 files in the \Program Files(x86)\Centricity Practice Solution 100\Client\CCC folder called CCCQE-USER-EDIT-SPECIALTY-DEFINTIONS.txt and CCCQE-USER-EDIT-SPECIALTY-DEFINTIONS-2.txt that need to have "yes" as the answer
(for example fn ccc_specialty_def_FP() {"Family Practice,Family Medicine"}
fn ccc_specialty_use_FP() {"yes"})
You of course would do this for any specialties you use. If that is set up correctly then the drop down boxes should work for that specialty.
I actually changed these files in the Source directory in the CPS Staging directory and used jobs.txt to push them out to all users. I would make backups of these 2 files as they are overwritten with upgrades and all the answers ore "no" again causing you to lose the drop downs again.
