Hello
I am trying to get the meds for COPD to auto populate when the providers choose COPD as a diagnosis when doing their CPOE. I followed all the instructions I could find, but they still don't populate. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Laurie
Can you post the relevant part of the text file you edited?
CCCQE-User-Edit-CPOE-Adult-TFE.txt file
I edited this line:
ccc_Adult_CPOE_exec("COPD^CCC-Family Practice^CCC-Adult^ccc_CPOE_template_COPD()^ICD-496^14^")
14 is the medication class that says in the TFE that it should be the correct one for COPD meds.
Thanks
Laurie
That looks just like mine - can you give some examples of drugs that are not showing up?

Hi David
The meds are Spiriva Handihaler, Symbicort, Proair HFA, Albuterol Sulfate for Nebulizer, Breo Ellipta, Singulair, Flovent, Duoneb......etc.
Laurie
Also we are on CPS VS 11.1.2 using (".\\usrlibccc-V8_3_8.txt") CCC Text Files.
Laurie
The medication classes are defined in CCC-fndef-CPOE.ccc
When is the last time your file has been updated?
There are several new classes that have been added to include 192 Which includes long acting inhaled anticholinergics.

Thanks Kat
We just upgraded to V8.3.8, the date on the file is 2012. I'll take a look at the file above.

The file is Version: 8.3.8 and says edited 5-31-06. I did a search but did not find 192 in the file. We just upgraded when we went to VS 11.1.2. Where would I find an updated version?
Thanks
Laurie
Thanks everyone for your help. The meds still are not populating so I have opened a ticket with GE. I'll let you know what they say.
Laurie
I have been working with GE on this to no resolve. Now it is not only the COPD meds, it's also Depression and Asthma meds that don't populate when the diagnosis is chosen in the CPOE. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
Laurie
