Our clinic is currently on CPS 11.0.0.621, utilizing CCC 8.3.7.1 with no plans to upgrade to CPS 12. Preparing for ICD-10, we crosswalked the current ICD-9 codes we use with the corresponding ICD-10 and made Custom Problem Lists that were entered into our Problems-CCC. These seem to work on one fat client we are live testing on. GE has made it known to us recently that although CPS 11 is ICD-10 ready, the CCC forms are not. They recommend using custom forms. So....questions. 1) Does anyone have a custom version in VFE comparable to that of the Problems-CCC, or any other custom content you are willing to share? 2) Would it be reasonable to assume that our Problems-CCC that contains our crosswalked codes will still work on the go-live date of 10/1/15? The ICD-9 codes aren't going to just disappear, right? I figure since the ICD-9 codes are already matched with a 10 code, it should work the same. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Kathy

When you say that CCC problems form is not ready, did they possible mean v 8.3.7.1 but v 9 is? I haven't heard them say anything about that in any of the ICD 10 webinars unless it was in one that I missed and haven't been able to review yet.
if you are hell bent on not upgrading then you may want to talk to blackbird, white plume, or Mike from Ortho North East. All three have solutions but they aren't free. The amount of work that needs to be put into building something like this is far from easy and is quite time consuming.
You may want to consider your decision not to upgrade as you will have to eventually anyway and GE is introducing an HTML based ICD10 walk through in August. Its like sticking with vista while 7 is out... wait... 8... no 8.1.... hold it... 10 in July?!?!
Version 9 doesn't work with CPS11, only CPS 12.
CCC version 9.1 forms aren't all updated either..... ARRGGGHHH
