Hi,
We have a Dermatologist that our physicians are looking to recruit, and one of their requirements for using our Centricity Practice Solution EMR, is that they be able to markup images/diagrams of body parts, and save it with their encounter documentation. I’m not sure of the details of all the functionality they are looking for at this time, but I was asked to look into it and see what options are available.
I did notice that there is the "Attachements" option within the Chart Update that appears to have some Annotations capabilities, but doesn't seem as "efficient/straight forward" as some of the capabilities that appear in a google search, offered by some other systems.
Do ya'll utilize the Attachment feature for this, and if so how well does it work for you? What are some other solutions that ya'll may have for this?
Free and/or paid solutions are appreciated. Just trying to see what all options are available and trying to determine the most efficient workflow for this.
Thanks!
You need to store the base images to your source .war location and deliver the images down to the clients with jobs.txt. Then they can click the "Blank image" in the Favorites section, pick an image and draw on it. Clinical Forge has a nice product that allows you to draw in an html form.
Hello, we have developed some drawing tool functionality with VFE content and HTML content. Happy to show it to you. Could share what we have and modify it some so we wouldn't have to recreate the wheel. It would be pretty afordable.
Best,
Chris

Thanks for the information!
Sounds interesting. Thanks for the reply.
Hey Nick,
I just did a demo of this at CHUG last week. I would be happy to connect and show you how this can be accomplished with an HTML form. Just shoot me an email if you have any interest.
