We are having a hard time with our providers not providing end dates when they add a problem to the problem list. Needless to say, our problem lists are a mess!
Has anyone developed or know if there is a way to FORCE providers to add an end date when adding a problem? Or at the least force a pop-up that reminds them to add one (if appropriate)?

You would need a function that looks through the PROB_NEW ("delimited","dat") and look at field 6 and see if it was blank and trigger a pop-up if it is.
