Hello All,
I'd like to start to do a bit of custom HTML development. Does anyone have an example of something that they have done that they would be willing to share that I can pull a part and learn from?
Thanks,
Brad
Just FYI, if you have installed 9.10 or 12.2 it comes with an HTML example form, its in the Encounter Forms folder on jboss, it comes with a ckt file so you can import it and view it as well.
Thanks! We are going to be going to 12.2 shortly. I'll look for it.
Aw snap! I have been wanting this, but have been too busy with other tasks to look into it! Thank you for asking the questiong bhoover, and thank you gibsonmi for letting us know about the example template. I can't wait to check it out. ^_^
If you have any questions related to HTML forms, I don't mind answering anything I can.
Is there any reference material?
Just as a follow up, I was watching the demo for the updates to the Clinical Forge development tool (we don't use this but I was curious if it might be worth testing out again). The demo is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLe4-nJRHck&feature=youtu.be
The presenter noted that the tool uses Centricity's html api for 12.2. They also have a html api search in the tool. (He references this at around the 10 minute mark in the video.) Did GE publish this and I missed it?
Brad
If so I missed it too. In the video at about the 1:50 mark he says GE released a new API. This is exciting news.
Nice of GE to keep us up to date.
Just wondering if anyone had more information about an API for HTML forms as mentioned here. At the last user group an individual from GE development had indicated to me that there were not plans to support custom HTML forms as they currently exist and that the functionality would be going away with Project Northstar for some yet to be determined new format. If they have an API now maybe there has been a change of plans and it would be worth investigating further.
Thank you for any information!
Mike, we are working with trinet to add barcode scanning to our system. Specifically the immunization management form. Would be able to help us modify the form?
