Does anyone know where to get the Crystal Report for the newest version of printed HCFAs? I believe it is referred to as "CMS-1500 version 2/12". Is it supposed to automatically update with Knowledgebase Updates? If so, mine didn't.
thanks,

Hi Steve,
Are you registered on the GE Service Portal? You can download the CMS1500_v0212 form there. You will also need to install the plug in which you will be able to locate on each workstation after you start up Centricity and go to product updates.

Thank you so much. That was exactly what I needed.
During the install, I read this message, "Both options will copy or replace the CMS1500_V0212 report file to the Client directory on the local machine." Does that mean that I don't need to manually download CMS1500_v0212 from the Service Portal? It seems like the plugin from the Product Updates will take care of everything. Is that right?
Hmmm....I don't recall seeing that particular message. Our reports folder resides on our app server and I manually dropped it there. I haven't seen it in the client directory on the local machine. I imagine if you install the plugin and everything works correctly, you're okay.
One note - I ran into a glitch and was getting an error that the system couldn't locate the new form so I called GE and they had me uninstall the plug-in on my desktop and then reinstall it but choose the "configure a database" option during the install. All works well now.

P.S. did you go to business reports in Administration and set up the path to the updated report?
I finally got it working. For future users who might come across this post, here are the steps I took:
- Install CMS1500 plugin using the Product Updates link in CPS.
- At the end of the install, select "Configure the Database". (this only needs to be done once. If you install the plug in on additional PCs, you won't need to 'configure the database' again)
NOTE: After installing the plugin, at least two additional files are placed in the 'client' folder of your CPS installation. They are 'cms1500_0212.rpt' and 'cms1500_0212_faq.pdf'. The faq file has some screenshots on how to do the next few steps.
- In CPS, open Administration>Reports>Business Report Criteria>Claims>Modify. Select the row that is for Filing Method 'HCFA', then click 'Edit'
- In the 'Claims' section (at the bottom), change the Stored Procedure from 'CMS1500' to 'CMS1500_V0212', and change the Report File from '.\CMS1500.rpt' to '.\CMS1500_V0212.rpt'.
NOTE: In my case, I store the .rpt file in a shared folder on the network, so I had to copy the new .rpt file to that share, then use the full network path instead of just ./CMS1500_V0212.rpt. With this setup, the plugin may not even need to be run on additional PCs. I haven't tested it since we only have one PC that needs to print claims.

Can someone give me directions through the portal to locate this file? I found the install instructions, but not the updated report file.
Thanks in advance!
The report file won't be there until you download and install the CMS1500 plugin. You can find the plugin by clicking the "Product Updates" menu button in Centricity.
Thanks so much -
