I'm in search of someone that is willing to share a custom phone note form that outshines the current CPS phone note. We are a large specialty office with high phone volume and the current form does not meet our needs, also it is not modifiable (from what I can tell). Thanks!
We were just trying to modify the GE phone note yesterday and realized how difficult they made it. We did some searching and found that someone posted the original GE phone note DLG file with a couple of fixes included. You can find it in this post:
This is kind of a never ending project for us which has lead to me tweaking many different version of our stuff and the orginal GE note.
There's even more but those are in the works as which to use. Good luck. We know your pain.
Would you mind posting a screenshot of your form? We are on a hosted platform... so importing them to take a peak is a little bit of a process. Thank you!
Thanks so much for sharing. The first screenshot is what we are looking for. Is that DLG file included in the ones that you posted?
Our current workflow does not include the use of the follow up tabs. We are a large practice and have always signed the initial phone note because of the possibility of information being deleted/changed or the phone note being deleted altogether. Initial users sign the note and the follow up is added in an append. I know this is not ideal and you can't use the full functionality of the form. Do you have this problem and how do you deal with it?
Thanks so much! I'll check it out. I think we will likely work toward developing our own custom HTML form using Clinical Forge.
Yep here it is Our phone note alternative1
I believe the workflow is to have each person us a quicktext (".s" for us) which name and timestamps into the comment box. Of course this can be deleted easily, but when you view contributors list those items write to the table DOCCONTB which we made a crystal report to investigate the stuff your describing. Now we can't tell what was deleted but at least we can know who changed something. We are almost at 100 providers and 600+ folks so we definitely feel the frustration when stuff is removed or changed without reason and workflow is constantly evolving.
Thanks again for sharing. You've been very helpful.
I had never heard of Clinical Forge until your comment. I am definitely going to push for a license, especially once we go live with 9.10 for HTML forms.
I recently posted our phone note in the marketplace if you are still looking for one...
