We use the data symbol {APPTS_BY_STATUS("scheduled","FULL")} on our CVS and have noticed an issue with it's behavior. If we call a patient to remind them of their appointment, and go to the schedule and change the appointment status to confirmed, or no answer, etc the data symbol no longer shows that appointment. I can change the code to {APPTS_BY_STATUS("confirmed","FULL")} or {APPTS_BY_STATUS("no answer","FULL")} and get the appointment to show up. The instructions for that data symbol says that it is looking for only 4 settings (scheduled, cancelled, no show, and arrived so I am not sure why it is getting the other statuses. What is really weird is we have CallPointe software to make our calls for us (except for one group of patients), and it changes the status, but it doesn't cause the same issue. Is there a different way we should be changing the appointment status to not affect the data symbol? Has anyone else encountered this issue? I will be placing a call to GE support to report the issue. I will reply with the service number so anyone that can reproduce the issue can reference it when calling GE.
