OK, this seems like a dumb question but where is it? I can't seem to find it anywhere. I looked in the administration section of centricity and can't even find where to activate it. Using CPS 10.3. Thoughts? Screen shots?
I want to use it so I can trace where things are being pulled from in an existing form to add to another form. I don't have the original DLG file, thanks.
In windows 7 it is here -
C:\Users\**username**\AppData\Local\Centricity\Logs
It was simliar in XP I think, i dont know about other operating systems
If you are looking for instructions on how to turn tracing on, I'm not sure about CPS but in EMR 9.5 you can go to the menu and choose Options, Tracing.
Search help for trace for ways to turn tracing on and off, including from the keyboard.
On our systems, the MEL trace files will, by default, go to this folder:
C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\Temp\12
The "AppData" folder is normally hidden in Windows Explorer, so you'll need to show hidden files or type in the path. By sure to replace <username> with your NT username.
NOTE: In the Tracing dialog, you can specify the path to store the trace file. Unfortunately it only remembers that path for the one trace - every time you re-open the dialog it forgets your custom path and goes back to the default path I provided.
thanks! I knew how to turn on the tracing I just couldn't find them once they were performed.
BTW, if anyone else doesn't know how to turn them on:
"turn tracing on by typing Ctrl + Alt + M to start and Ctrl + Alt + M again to stop. Delete your trace files periodically. They can grow quite large."
