Hello all! We have been on EMR(oracle 9.5) for 14 years and just recently got serious about implementing orders. As a result, we have approximately 100,000 old orders that were never completed. Has anyone figured out a good work around for completing old orders in mass? At one time someone had told me that they had GE (or someone) to write them a script to complete their old orders with a comment so they could start fresh. If anyone has any prior experience or advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

We didn't do this with orders but we had LOTS of insigned documents and GE developed a script to take care of them for us.
GE will be very cautious about what they do, though, since it could have legal and patient care ramifications.
