We are new to CPS, and changed a patient name in the system. When we search for the patient with their new name the account comes up, however if you search by their former name it does not show anything. I thought it would come up under either of the names.

It's been a while since you posted this but we were experiencing the same thing and it is a glitch in the system. GE has a SQL script which will fix the problem.

What version of GE are you on. Since we updated to version 11 we cannot merge. Does this allow you to merge as well?
