When we print prescriptions for DME, like diabetic supplies, we need the ICD-9 code to print on the prescription. Has anyone found a way to do this on the prescription crystal report? If so, would you be willing to share your report or what you did to the report? Thank you!
What version of Centricity?
V9.5.3
In the new medication window, to the left is a set of radial buttons with Alrgs, Meds, Probs. Select Problems and in the window below, it will list all the patients problem list.
Click on each problem that go with the medication and then above the Authorized By field, there should be a box that states Print Dx. Check that box and when printed, it should put the problems on the prescription.

Yes. We are doing that but it does not print the ICD-9 code. Any other thoughts?
hmm. I have never seen it not print. What state are you in? It may be something with the crystal report for you state.
Florida
Hmm. Just checked the report for florida and mine is setup correctly. Shouldnt be any difference on yours unless someone has modified it.
I would put a ticket in with GE on it. It should be showing up if those items are checked.
can you send me yours so I can compare?
Sorry...I mean yours for Florida. We are using the one that came with our system dated 3/28/11. We went Live on 10/1/12.
Sure. Here it is
It is dated 7/23/2010 so it is an older report than yours but it may work.
Thanks. I loaded it but am getting an error. Are you on CPS? if so, then that might be the difference. I logged a case last week and they told me if I knew Crystal Reports, which I do a little, I could get the code to appear. I have tried everything I can think of and cannot get it to work...I get errors.
Yep I am on CPS. Didnt think about some of the fields may be different on the report.
It's Ok. Thank you for trying
What is your email address? I can send you the EMR 9.5 version.
