Greetings!
Our board has asked us to start running "metrics" and I thought I'd see if anyone out there has a set of .rpt files they've already built before I start from scratch. I know a lot of the MU Crystal Reports will be helpful, but I am hoping someone has already edited them for use outside of MU.
One example they gave me was "patients who need to but have not had their a1c checked in the last 3 months" - so obviously we'd need to establish who SHOULD have it checked and then run the .rpt to compare that population with the patients who have a value in the a1c obs term.
Any help / starting points would be appreciated!

You probably need to define the issues that you wish to address. And from that, what do you want to do with the information - two separate, but related lists.
1. Patients to follow/track
diabetics, asthma, high-risk for hospital re-admission, patients who've missed diagnostic screening tests
2. What to do with the data
report to track by physician/team, mail/telephone outreach
From those two sets, you will know what you want/need. For example, a report in Excel format of women 20-64 in need of pap and/or mammo screen. Report to include address info for a mass mailing.
