Has anyone developed a crystal report that can pull data directly from the server in the event of computer downtime? We recently were down for 2 days, and for our physicians who are 100% EMR, they have no idea what most patients problem or med lists contained, if any new tests or imaging had been performed, etc. We are looking for something that could pull the scheduled patients and their med and problem list by doctor from a computer. We would run this report nightly in the event that we would not be stuck without valuable information. Thanks
Just making sure you are aware that this is also an option (emr 9.5)
Log into EMR
Click on the Appts tab up top
Go to ACTIONS / PRINT
SELECT FORMS FOR SELECTED BOOKS
SELECT THE DATE / BOOKS / CHECK CHART SUMMARY
also try checking "document templete". that seems to list all the previous info.
We have CPS 9.5, I don't see an appointments tab?
You wont have one. The Appointments is strictly in the standalone EMR.
I had something similar to what you are wanting. Let me see if I can find it again.

Is there a way to automate this process and have it print to a file that could then be accessed in the event of downtime?

Not the way its currently setup in EMR. I'm currently refreshing myself with crystal and sql queries. I'll let you know if i get anywhere with this.
Guys,
I have one, that I created for Centricity EMR 9.5...it should work for CPS, also.
I will send it to whomever would like it.
Thanks,
Ron

Can you just upload it to the Crystal report form? That way it will be there for anyone who wants it. If not, please email it to me at [email protected]
Thanks,
Linda
Linda,
If you can help me figure out how to post the Report on the Forum, I will certainly do that (I have others to share, also).
I couldn't exactly find the Forum -> Permissions -> Manage Permissions panel...it may be that I am too new of a user?
I will send it directly to yourself and Malissa...
If anyone has any tips on posting a report on the Forum, please let me know, and I will be glad to oblige!
Thanks,
Ron
It is on it's way!
