We have had an influx of new providers and locums who have had some significant complaints regarding the viewing of immunizations from the Flowsheet and two different History selections. It is cumbersome and frustrating for all providers but especially for the new or locum providers who have used other EMRs.
Does anyone have a workflow to share? Currently, our providers and nursing staff are using the Histories selection then opening both forms from the drop down menu but these cannot be seen side by side and the HTML form doesn't send the immunizations to the Flowsheet anymore...
Any help or advice would be appreciated!
Thank you,
Suzanne Maris
Hi Suzanne,
If you use custom forms you can use the IMMUN_GETLIST() function to pull immunization data (that is entered via the HTML form) into the form of your choice and create a workflow that works best for you.

Hi Suzanne, did you run the immunization migration process to convert your "old" immunizations to the table format so they will show on the new Histories report?
Thank you for your response and I must not have "run the immunization migration process to convert our "old" immunizations to the table format so they will show on the new Histories report" I will look further into this resolution. I appreciate your time. Suz
Thank you so much for your response. I have added this to my list of things to add to some forms I am working on. Your help is very much appreciated. Suz
This is a little different request but still to do with the Immunizations on the History View.
We have difficulty running reports to find patients who have had a particular vaccine since switching to the HTML form. For instance, We need to monitor patients who have received a Pneumo vaccine, but there is not a way to run a query to look at the vaccines in the new format ( no obs terms).
Does anyone have a way to do this?
We are on EMR 9.8
